Quote of the Day...

  • "It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power." Alan Cohen

The Power of Responsibility

Day 9 - The Power of Responsibility

So, we have liberated ourselves of our past and today is about a new committment to love, honor, protect and respect the vulnerable, beautiful us, that we are.

It is our new job to care for this sacred being we are, that we have created. In order to do this well and successfully, we must be responsible. This isnt carrying the same weight and responsibility of the past, this isn't a burden a problem or guild ridden/provoked.   This is different, this is responsibility that comes from responding to our own needs, by building our competency and sense of personal authority one loving choice at a time.

When you are responsible for yourself, nobody is coming to save you, nor does anybody make any choices for you.  This is you making decisions for you, choosing you and being the you, you were and are meant to be.  You are the mother, father, sister, brother, teacher and guide for yourself and your soul.

As this new emotional person that you are today, write your soul a letter telling it what a great honor it is to be its keeper, its partner while ensuring you are meeting your divine purpose. Then ask your soul to show you in the hours and days that follow, what choices and decisions you need to make and what actions you can take to be 100% responsible for your souls purpose. Make sure to write this down.

Like every day, what is the one thing that is most important for you to take responsibility for in order to bring your goal to fruition?  What need could you most respond to within yourself that would help you to have access to the feeling you most desire.

Remember, you are a responsible adult who thrives in this world.

Sun Tzu - in response to your comments to me, I will discontinue this so you can take one journey at a time, without interruption. Makes sense to me to keep our focus clear and on track as well.  Let's get this right and move on to whatever comes next.  Shall we?
